Can You Tell What This Is?
By
Karey Burek
I am not an expert when it comes to flowers and am going nuts
trying to identify the plant that we received as a gift for Thanksgiving.
The flower is absolutely gorgeous, with a soft yellow on the petals, and a light
orange and burnt brick color in the center. It smells like a dazzling
bouquet of pineapples and looks similar to a tropical fruit tree, but we were
told it wasn't! Can anyone help me? I have taken a picture of the
flowers that recently bloomed--they do not seem to be influenced by the cold
weather, because they are as beautiful as ever and haven't dropped off the plant
because of the chilly temperatures.
