Honoring Veterans With a Parade

RUSKIN - Hundreds lined U.S. Highway 41 through
Ruskin on November 8 for a parade in honor of America’s veterans.
The Veterans Day parade included floats from the Krewe
of Charlotte DeBerry, the Southshore Marauders, the honorary mayors of
Ruskin and Apollo Beach, the Ruskin Tomato Queen and other organizations.

Schools Named for
Developer and Educator

RUSKIN - The SouthShore area has two new schools
under construction with opening dates of August, 2004.
Recently the new schools received new names, Thomas P.
Corr Elementary School and Beth Shields Middle School.
