The Indians fell hard to Durant High School losing 28-10 at home in Gibsonton.

It would not be accurate at all to say that the Indians were beaten by a better team. They were, however, seriously out-played that night.

Both teams committed several critical turnovers but Durant managed to convert those to points on the board.

"Durant has a good football team," said East Bay head coach Brian Thornton. "They out-played us up inside."

On Friday, the Indians will travel to Riverview to take on the 3-1 Sharks.

The Sharks swept a three game road series by beating Bloomingdale 42-0.

Riverview running backs Cecil Coltraine and Tyrone McKenzie together rushed for well over 400 yards during the game.

In the past three games, the Sharks have racked up 135 points while only giving up 27 points - 21 of which came during the Riverview win over Plant City.

On Friday, the Sharks will host the 2-2 East Bay Indians at the J. Vince Thompson Stadium.

"It’s going to be a fun game," said Sharks head coach Dan O’Regan. "We’ll have a great crowd and they’ll bring a great crowd."

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. The Observer News and Riverview Current will have full coverage of the game next week.
