Rhymes and Reasons

By Tod McGinley
Her life as a poet is well
documented, but Emily Dickinson’s intimate connection to Ireland is rarely

Taking Time for Tea
A group of young ladies from the Family Learning Center day care in
Ruskin took time out for tea on Aug. 27 at the Porch Tea Room on Shell
Point Road. The entire group seemed to enjoy their ‘girls time out.’
The girls, ages two to four, apparently left quietly while the boys in
the day care center were occupied elsewhere. "We’ll have to come up
with something for the boys later," said one staff member.

south county. The facts, however, are few. Yet one in every ten new
jobs created in the entire nation came from the Tampa-St.
Petersburg-Clearwater Metropolitan area. South county communities are
joining forces to become a strong player in that prospering market.
How will all of the changes effect our communities and area businesses
and what can south county shoppers expect from the future?
The three-part series is available on
the web:
Part 1 - Welcome
to SouthShore
Part 2 - Meet
the Neighbors
Part 3
