Manatee Arts Festival Returns for 11th Year

APOLLO BEACH - The 11th annual Manatee Arts Festival will take place beginning March 8 in Apollo Beach. The festival will take place on U.S. 41 just south of Big Bend Road.

Last year, more than 100 artists displayed their talents and this year promises to be even better. In addition to the artists, there will also be a children's area which will include a Young at Art children's art show, a Children's Creativity Center, story telling and live entertainment.

Additionally, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders will be on hand to cheer things on and Radio Disney will be broadcasting from the festival on Sunday and will be giving away free Disney items.

The Manatee Arts Festival is dedicated to showcasing the visual and performing arts as well as promoting awareness and preservation of the manatee. The festival includes a juried art show.
