ASTROLOGY FOR WEEK BEGINNING FEB. 13, 2003

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 to Feb. 19) Don't try to be too friendly with others over the weekend as your attentions will not be appreciated. Friends and associates will be in fighting moods and you had best leave them alone. The needs of your partner require cooperation or compromise and it will require special efforts to keep them in a good mood. By the 19th you will be concerned with money and the way you should be handling it. An older child causes problems.

PISCES (Feb. 20 to March 20) Stay out of all disagreements at work as a small difference of opinion can grow into a bitter quarrel. Do not indulge in gossip or secrets of any kind. Just do your work quietly and thoroughly, even if it is housework at home. If you have been putting off repairs or any changes in your home, continue doing so as this is no time to be starting anything or taking any new person into your home. Stay behind the scenes as much as possible.

ARIES (March 21 to April 20) The emphasis on socializing and being involved with special groups peters out this week. Your hot-tempered concern over a family relationship, travel plan, religious or legal matter is doubly strong over the weekend. Travel is not recommended at that time, either. If a young person or child needs your help, you will give more than you are asked for. Other people are more interested in their emotional needs than in yours this week.

TAURUS (April 21 to May 21) Valentine's Day brings a money matter into sharp focus. Be sure that your own funds and possessions are safe from theft or destruction. Someone may just want to quarrel over money. Real love comes from a distance and warms your heart. It will be difficult to keep work and home responsibilities from interfering with each other. Avoid conversations or acts that get you and others at swords points. Compromise on all issues.

GEMINI (May 22 to June 22) Check all mail carefully so as not to overlook an important message. Partners will be on the warpath over the weekend, so handle them with kid gloves. Refuse to discuss touchy matters from the past by changing the subject or being busy elsewhere. Don't let uncertain changes at work or in your public life upset you. It is a very definite time to go with the flow jobwise. All matters pertaining to legal affairs and relatives require careful handling.

CANCER (June 22 to July 23) A situation that develops in your job or your health is more serious than it appears to be. Fellow employees or someone who works for you, or a pet, face an upset that temporarily changes their reactions toward you, making you the target of their anger. Your keyword this week is WAIT. It will all blow over very shortly. Use care regarding money matters and do not get into arguments with others over money. Unwelcome bills arrive.

LEO (July 24 to Aug. 23) For the next two weeks stay out of any serious negotiations because the other party has ideas and aims that are very different from yours. Make every effort to cooperate with those who are close to you. Children and young people will be particularly intent on having their own way, so give in to them as often and as much as you can. Your home life will be disruptive because of the actions of others. You will be changing your personal plans.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 to Sept. 23) Beginning on the 19th and continuing for a month you will notice a big difference in both marital and business partnerships. You will find that you are more important than ever to each other. Each of you supplies what the other lacks and respects what the other's goals and personal preferences are. Any attempt to boss the other around will meet with resistance and resentment. Take things slowly, don't overdo and watch your health this week

LIBRA (Sept. 24 to Oct. 23) Your daily work routine changes before this week is over. Your focus will be on efficiency and effectiveness. You will have to work under someone else's direction and you don't understand what you should do or how you should do it. Avoid being obsessed by worries over your health or by freak health remedies. A grown daughter may be facing money problems. You feel restricted by responsibilities to family members, including children.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 to Nov. 22) Quarrels and rage over money matters should be sidestepped over the weekend. You will be criticized if you spend outrageously for Valentine gifts. Some of you will be the victim of cutbacks at work and the forced change will have a devastating effect on your home life. The good news is that you can work on creative tasks for the next month, or give time to sports, entertainment, romance or your children. Keep your emotions under control.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 to Dec. 21) No matter what excuses you make, the fact remains that you are the one who causes all sorts of problems over the weekend. Accidents are possible so use extreme care in whatever you are doing. Be particularly careful around home on the 19th and 20th. Look out for water problems and slippery floors or objects then. It is not the time to paint or install plumbing. Foot-in-mouth disease can really get you into trouble this week.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 to Jan. 20) Over the weekend there is the possibility of severe ego conflicts. You will be tempted to take over and run whatever is happening around you. You attract people who feel the same way and this causes power struggles. You feel irritable and uneasy, wanting to act in one way and finding yourself acting the opposite way. Bring your feelings out into the open if you want to resolve misunderstandings. Share expenses when possible.
