Proud to Be From Tampa By Dale Morrow I just finished watching the Super Bowl on television. I am not a football fan usually, but this was such a special event for our area. I could not miss this game. So many people were excited, it was hard not to get caught up in it. As I set here at my computer I hear fireworks, sirens, car horns and people yelling. I am glad I don't have to go out on the streets tonight. The Bucs are an important part of so many peoples lives. I am glad when they win, but I don't become depressed when they lose. I have friends that take it very personal and it effects their entire week after a loss. I can't wait to see them, it will be interesting to observe what effect this win will have on the next week. All in all this win will be good for our economy and the morale of the City of Tampa. The next year's and all the fans that is what is important. The Super Bowl win for the Bucs has made my "View From The Road" Proud to be from Tampa. |
