ASTROLOGY FOR WEEK BEGINNING JAN. 23, 2003

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 to Feb. 19) Friends are very supportive and if you are looking for romance in that direction, you will surely find it, quite possibly with someone you consider too old for you, or someone whose ideas are not as exciting as you would like them to be. Any partnership or legal plans that have been blocked will now go forward. Do not act on any unusual or experimental ideas in the next four weeks as they would be too fragile to last and would disappoint you.

PISCES (Feb. 20 to March 21) It's time to tread water and keep your activities as secret as you can. Friends have a lot to say. Listen, but do not comment. Work goes exceedingly well and you will be quite happy and content at work. A new procedure or ruling makes a fortunate change which everyone agrees with. You will feel you couldn't ask for better working conditions. If there is criticism or an old grouch at home, don't pay any attention to it or to him/her.

ARIES (March 21 to April 20) If you have felt depressed lately, the picture changes this week when you have real reasons to feel that life is worth living after all. The blues can be dispelled by thoughts of wonderful travel plans with someone you love or hold dear. The lines of communication reopen in matters of importance to you. The documents you receive can be easily handled if you put your mind to it. Entertain and be entertained if you want to have fun.

TAURUS (April 21 to May 21) New developments at work or in your social life are in your favor. Look for an increase in funds to keep your household running in the black, or a family member helps you out in some way. You dream of travel or of people in distant places and these dreams come true in sudden and unexpected ways. Finish up all old projects in order to be ready to take advantage of opportunities to spruce up your home and welcome a visitor.

GEMINI (May 22 to June 21) It is a good weekend for you when everything finally falls into place and your plans and schemes start to jell. Partners are cooperative if you act interested in their schemes and projects. This is a happy time for them, so go along with them and don't throw monkey wrenches and you will benefit from them in the near future. Old relationship issues can be resolved in an easy, friendly way. Cooperation brings a light at the end of the tunnel.

CANCER (June 22 to July 23) Communication improves by leaps and bounds. Your emotions are strong and you demand a lot of feedback from othersyour family, your co-workers and your closest partner. Don't hesitate to say everything that is on your mindthe bad and the good. You will be able to clear the air and endear yourself to those who are close to you. You feel more free to act and to express yourself than you have for a long time. Go for it!

LEO (July 24 to Aug. 23) Many of you will be madly in love this weekjust the kind of climate you like! Everyone you meet or have dealings with thinks you are special and one-in-a-million. This is true even of those who know you better than that. The problems of old friends demand your attention, which you freely give to them. Work that you do finally comes out of the rough and moves along smoothly, for a change. Just don't trust close partners too far.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 to Sept. 23) This is an excellent time to find a new place to live or to invite unusual and special people into your home. Work situations continue to be mystifying and strange, but you are able to get your work done more efficiently and well, so ignore the confusion around you. A child or young person becomes easier to deal with because they are willing to listen to you and talk about their own problems. If they don't volunteer information, just ask.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 to Oct. 23) Your written or spoken words are golden this week and you will be pleased and surprised by others' reactions to what you say or write. You react emotionally to every one you contact. You feel out of focus where work and love are concerned. You are no doubt in love with love and you know it. Love affairs are most unreliable now, so be careful. They have no reality for the long haul. Remember the old song? "Oh well, it was swell while it lasted."

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 to Nov. 22) This is the week when you could increase your financial holdings by leaps and bounds. Using caution, go after what you want financially. We are talking real money here. There will be lots of action on the home front. Young folks surprise you with a visit or you are moving or dealing with real estate people. Family affairs can get hectic with visitors coming and going. Stay calm and relaxed and be sure to lock your doors when you are away.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 to Dec. 20) Wait for another month before going ahead with marriage plans or stabilizing any relationship, whether personal or professional. Travel and legal matters will still be held up until the first week in April. Your thinking is fuzzy now and it is not a good time to start new projects or try to convince other people that you know more than they do. Be careful that you do not go overboard emotionally with foreigners, in-laws or strangers.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21 to Jan. 20) Secret love affairs will have dire consequences. Need I say more? Your work seems dull and repetitive but you can be very clever when it comes to introducing new methods or procedures to relieve the tedium. Check back on how things used to be done at work and you could come up with some interesting and profitable suggestions. Do something positive to make your home more comfortable and inviting.
