Melvin J. Bushart of Sun City Center, Fla. died March 18, 2018, at the age of 82 years. He was born Feb. 17, 1936, in Marion N.Y.
Activities and hobbies included traveling, golfing, gardening, coaching sports and exercising.
Before moving to Sun City Center, Fla., he lived in Palmyra, N.Y. and worked as Director of Buildings and Grounds for Fairport Central School district.
He was predeceased by his first wife Barbara Wilde Bushart. He is survived by his wife Jean McGee Bushart of Sun City Center, Fla.; sister Aldeen Weis of Bradenton, Fla.; daughter Kimberly Bushart; sons, Christopher (Tammy) Bushart of Clifton Springs, N.Y., Joel Bushart of Fairport, N.Y. and Paul Bushart of Fairport, N.Y.; stepsons Bruce McGee (Lisa) of Royal Oak, Mich. and Douglas McGee (Meg) of Fairport, N.Y.; and 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Florida services were held March 20 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Graveside service and Celebration of Life will be held in Marion, N.Y. in June.
