FRIDAY, APRIL 7
Operation Medicine Cabinet April 7
On Friday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to noon at Sun City Center Community Association Community Hall, 1910 S. Pebble Beach Blvd., Sun City Center, drop off your expired or unused medications, and help save the water system.
Operation Medicine Cabinet collects expired or unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications for proper disposal. Improper disposal such as flushing drugs down the toilet or drain leads to the contamination of Florida’s aquatic environment. Wastewater treatment systems are not designed to remove these medications from our water. — help keep our water system safe.
