Albert Rimes Sr.
Albert Rimes Sr, 92, a resident of Gibsonton for 76 years, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2017. He is survived by two sons, Albert Jr. (Teresa) and Steve (Lisa); and one daughter, Sheila (Ron) Farris. Grandchildren Chris (Jennifer) Rimes, Alison (Steve) Heisler, Stephanie (Richard) Annello, David (Melanie) Rimes, Marque Whillock, Michael Winslow, Joey (Lani) Winslow and Kellie Farris; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers: Earnest Rimes and Jerman Redding (J.R.) Rimes, and dozens of nieces and nephews.
Albert was pre-deceased by his parents Stephen and Lula Rimes, brother Marion Rimes, and sisters Ruby Devane Ellis and Roberta White.
Albert was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
A viewing will be held Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to noon at First Baptist Church of Gibsonton. The funeral will follow at noon with interment at Fellowship Cemetery in Wimauma, where he will be laid to rest alongside his loving wife Hattie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Marian Ver Schure
Marian Doris Ver Schure was born July 25, 1925 and passed away March 13, 2017. She was full of life, living independently, until she fell and suffered a subdural hematoma on Feb. 24, 2017. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many including her children, Jeralynn Faltynski (Tom); Gwynn Sterken (Jim); Jim Dekker (Alicia); Pat Holman; her children through marriage Marcy (Cal) Tameling; Joyce (Kirt) Zimmerman; Bob (Carol) Ver Schure; Tom (Liz) Ver Schure and many grand and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Sun City Center on Saturday, March 25, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers consider a donation to her preferred charity the Barnabas Foundation, 18601 North Creek Drive, Suite B, Tinley Park, IL 60477.
