Fun Fest 2017 lives up to its name
Sun City Center’s Central Campus teemed with visitors from all over South Shore at Fun Fest 2017 last Saturday. The five-hour event drew thousands, who got a first-hand look at retirement community living through a plethora of club exhibits, demonstrations, freshly prepared foods and more. Continuous entertainment was provided all day.
Many took advantage of Fun Fest’s all-day health fair, which offered free screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, vision, BMI and vein health.
Forty area businesses sent representatives to talk about their products and services. Among them were John Moore Flooring, Fletcher Music Centers, Bayada Home Health Care, South Bay Hospital and Coastal Eye Institute.
“It was fabulous as usual,” said Sun City Center resident Sally Nichols, visiting the event for the fourth time. “It had really good music, lots of helpful information and fun raffles on just about every table. I enjoyed seeing so many of my friends and neighbors.”
