Don Mace
Don Davis Mace, 87, of Sun City Center, Fla. passed away November 25, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife Iva Mae Mace, daughters Sandra Kay Metzger of Gun Barrel City, Texas; Leigh Anne Huckaby (Jimmy) of Orlando, Fla.; son Kerry Alan Mace (Donna) of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; seven grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 37 and one-half years, Ruby Joiner Mace.
He was born in Muncie, Ind., graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1947 and moved to Florida in 1958. He retired as a Sergeant Major from the Florida Army National Guard where he was a full-time guardsman. His final assignment was with the State Area Command Headquarters in St. Augustine, Fla. He also was a volunteer with Samaritan Services and the Security Patrol in Sun City Center and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Sun City Center, Fla.
Final interment will be at the Grant County Cemetery in Matthews, Ind. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Mission Fund, 702 W. Del Webb Blvd. Sun City Center, FL 33573. Service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church Friday, December 9, 2016, at 2 p.m. Arrangements by Zipperer’s Funeral Home.
Candace (Candy) Seward
Candace (Candy) Seward, 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 27, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband Mike; her daughter, Hadley; her son-in-law, Pree; and her grandson, Alex.
She is also survived by her brother, Raegon B. Clutz, his wife, Susan Hohman Clutz; her nephew Raegon B. Clutz, Jr., and his wife Mary Katherine Clutz and their children, Logan and Connor; and her niece Christeen Melby.
Candy was born in Gettysburg, Pa., on June 3, 1948. She was a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and had a successful career in the department store industry in Richmond, Va., becoming one of the first female Divisional Vice Presidents in the industry. Candy and Mike moved to San Francisco in 1994, where they fell in love with rollerblading, golf and biking.
In 2000, they moved to Apollo Beach, Fla. to start a real estate appraisal business from scratch. Having no clients, Candy began marketing the firm, talking to banks, mortgage brokers and anyone else who would listen. By 2003, the company was named the largest appraisal company on the West Coast of Florida, and Candy was elected the Women’s Council of Realtors affiliate member of the year for the state of Florida.
Candy and Mike were married for 30 wonderful, loving years and led an active and energetic social life. She loved to golf, sail, and play bocce ball with their friends.
She will be missed, but not forgotten.
A service was held on Friday, December 2, 2016, at the Sun City Center Funeral Home at 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, FL 33573.

Edwin H. Stoner
Edwin H. Stoner, 54, of Ruskin Fla., passed away Nov. 11, 2016. He is survived by his wife Audrey; two children Edwin and Amanda; three granddaughters; and his parents Nancy and Bill Freeman.
Services will be held at the Sunshine Skyway State Park near the fishing pier on the north side. Rev. R. Lewis Brady will officiate.
