Chamber’s Fall Expo draws thousands
A steady stream of area residents turned out for the Sun City Center Area Chamber of Commerce’s latest business expo, held at Community Hall Dec. 1. Attendance was estimated at “a couple thousand,” said chamber CEO Dana Dittmar.
Almost 80 vendors, including 15 nonprofit organizations, offered some holiday treats and information on their goods and services. Many held prize drawings.
“If you missed it because you thought many of the vendors were the same, you were mistaken,” Dittmar said. “In addition to our regulars, we had many new participants, like Legacy Law Group, Bulk Food Superstore and Joe Valadyka Total Home Care, which got 25 confirmed appointments scheduled at the event.”
A cross section of the vendors were interviewed live by Dittmar during an on-site broadcast of Sun Radio 96.3 FM.
