Jennie Mary Citrano
Jennie Mary Citrano, 98, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away January 19, 2016. She was born in Chicago, Ill., on June 30, 1917, and was the last surviving member of her family of nine children.
She retired as an inspector manager for Mastercrafter Clocks in Chicago after 45 years of service. In 1994, she moved to Florida from Kansas City, Kan., with her daughter and son-in- law, Nancy and Loron Mercer.
Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dora Costello; stepfather, John Bacello; and five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her only daughter, Nancy Mercer; four grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services and burial will be in Kansas City, Mo., with the Mercer family at a later date. Jennie will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.

Ellen Vera Schoening Devermann
Ellen Vera Schoening Devermann, 90, died Saturday January 23, 2016, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tenn. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the National Cemetery in Nashville.
Ellen Vera Schoening was born August 1, 1925, in Davenport, Iowa. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1944 and married Delbert Fred Devermann on October 28, 1945, in Davenport. They lived in Davenport, where they raised their three children. After Del retired from John Deere Plow-Planter in 1982 after 40 years of service, they retired to Florida.
Ellen lived in Colony Cove in Ellenton, Fla., and then at Aston Gardens in Sun City Center for the past 30 years.
She was preceded in death by husband Delbert Devermann; parents George Fred and Anna Dora Ehlert Schoening; brother Chester Schoening; and grandson Christopher Borland.
Survivors include her three children and spouses: son Dr. Robert (Nan) Devermann, Oshkosh, Wis.; daughters Susan (Donald) Costello, Mayfield, Ky., and Connie (Hank) Hipp, Nashville; six grandchildren and spouses Wendy and Darin Walker, John and April Costello, Jennifer and Tommy McNutt, Nathan and Wendy Devermann, Callie Devermann, and Melissa Borland and fiancé Mitch Clemons; great-granddaughters Karie Sue and Addie Walker, and Macy Costello; and her cat, Muffin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, Alive Hospice Nashville or a charity of your choice.

Madie Edwards Franks
Madie S. Edwards Franks, 101 years old, died at her residence, Aston Gardens at the Courtyards, Sun City Center, Fla., and went home to be with her Lord January 21, 2016.
She was born in 1914 in Lillington, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Joseph O’Neil Edwards, by her parents Henry Clay Stephens and Alice Johnson Stephens, and by her eight siblings (all born in Lillington).
She is survived by her only child, Alice Ann Edwards Mundy (husband Thomas C. Mundy) of Gainesville, Ga.; grandsons The Reverend T. Camper Mundy Jr. (wife Heather Ring Mundy) of Williamsburg, Va. and Matthew O’Neil Mundy of New York, N.Y.; great-grandchildren Hope Kathryn and twins Tyson Thomas and Mercy Allison; and sister-in-law/friend Edna Stephens of Cleveland, Tenn.
She and Joe married in Raleigh, N.C., where they met at Kings Business College. They later moved to Wilmington and then Winston-Salem, before retiring (1982) to Sun City Center, where they became charter members of the United Methodist Church of SCC and active on its Visitation Committee. Following Joe’s death in 1985, she later married Harold Franks, but was widowed in 2006. Her life continued to be filled with friends and visits with her loving family in her beloved community she called “home” for 24 years.
The family deeply appreciates the devoted care shown Alice Ann’s Mother by the caregivers and staff at The Inn at Aston Gardens, BAYADA Home Health nurses, the late Kay Dyer, who was her friend and first Geriatric Care Manager, Aging Care Advocates, the pastoral-care visits from her church, and LifePath Hospice nurses. She looked upon all of them as friends who helped her experience joy and love every day.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at the United Methodist Church of Sun City Center, followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. The Reverend Julian Graham and The Reverend Camper Mundy will officiate.

Rita Grey Harrell
Rita Grey Harrell, 77, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away Friday, January 15, 2016, at Wellington Hospital in Wellington, Fla.
Rita is survived by son Randal Harrell; daughters Elaine Christensen and Rita Abramson; and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rita loved spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all her loved ones.
A Celebration of Life was held at Little Harbor Resort, Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016.

Daniel Ernest Jackson Jr.
Daniel Ernest Jackson, Jr., 87, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Mary Anne Jackson, and father of Daniel E. Jackson III and Edward Jackson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, 1015 E. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City Center.

Armand ‘Rocky’ Pucci
Armand “Rocky” Pucci, of Sun City Center, Fla., went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2016. He was born June 19, 1933 in Hancock, Mich., to the late Armando and Josephine Pucci. Armand leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 26 years Annetta.
Armand loved to play sports. He was a semiprofessional baseball player and loved golf. He served three years in the U.S. Navy.
Along with his wife, Armand is survived by daughter Therese Hornsby; grandchildren Meaghin, Jonathon, Nicholas and Tony; and brothers Paul and Robert. Armand was preceded in death by son Todd.
A Memorial Mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
