Dear Editor,
I was saddened to learn that the Peforming Arts Club was no longer going to be part of Sun City Center’s entertainment scene. For many years, Lew [Resseguie] and his cohorts — certainly the other charter members who have remained with him the entire time — have provided topnotch shows for very reasonable ticket costs.
While I wish that somehow Lew and the others might change their minds, I realize that would be greed on my part. Even though they clearly showed a passion for their splendid performances, it obviously required a lot of effort. So they too, especially those of the “correct” age to reside in Sun City Center, deserve their retirement comfort like the rest of us. They will be missed and their passionate performances will not be forgotten.
