Hydro Harvest Farms held its sixth annual Easter “Eggscavenger” Hunt on Saturday, a free event for children and families. Dozens of families turned out for the hunt, which included crafts and games for kids, along with games and tasks to collect items on a scavenger hunt that took children and their parents throughout the hydroponic farm. The reward was an Easter bag filled with candy.
Hydro Harvest Farms is located at 1101 East Shell Point Road in Ruskin. The farm store, selling fresh produce and more, is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.hydroharvestfarms.com.
