Leslie John Brunskill
Leslie John Brunskill, 78, of Sun City Center, Fla., a former resident of Seneca Falls, N.Y., died on June 18 at Sun Terrace in Sun City Center. Mr. Brunskill was born in Hall, N.Y., the son of Ralph Brunskill and Kathryn Schroeder Brunskill. He was a graduate of Mynderse Academy and received his B.A. degree from the University of Rochester and his MBA from Syracuse University. He was a former Vice President of Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls, a Vice President of Amcast Industrial Corp. in Dayton, Ohio, and retired from Premier Farnell in Cleveland as Vice President of Compliance.
He is survived by Mary Louise Bevins Brunskill, his wife of 58 years, and by his two daughters Leigh (Thomas) Guiel of Gaithersburg, Md., and Susan (Ron) Knox of Watertown, N.Y.; and four grandchildren: Jessica Guiel-Nacke (Ian), Michael Guiel, and Ryan and Kristen Knox. He is also survived by his sister Shirley Snyder of New Port Richey, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ralph.
The family requests the courtesy of no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. A memorial service will be held with burial in St. Columbkille Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Sun City Center Funeral Home.
Ima “Mae” McQuary
Ima “Mae” McQuary, 84, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away on May 16, 2014, in Lakeland, Fla. She was born May 1, 1930, in Morehead, Ky.
Mae was an active member of the Sun City Center Horseshoe Club and, along with her husband, was involved in many activities: the V.F.W., American Legion and the Shiners in Ohio and Florida, and she had been a professional bowler in Ohio.
She married Robert McQuary on July 27, 1970, in Tennessee. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2008, in Sun City Center.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, Arthur and Alice Gregory, four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by one sister, Aileen Richards of Centerville, Ohio ;and 16 nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
She was buried at Bushnell Florida National Cemetery.
A memorial service is planned for Friday, June 27, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 1511 El Rancho Drive, Sun City Center, with the Rev. Rance Goad presiding.
