J. E. “Gene” Lofley
J. E. “Gene” Lofley, suffered a stroke on his 89th birthday September 10, 2013 and passed away on September 30, 2013. He was a lifetime resident of Hillsborough County, retired member of Boilermakers Local #433 where he served as Business Manager and International Representative, member of Mason Lodge #185 and served in the Merchant Marines.
Gene is survived by sister Marie Elena Reynolds (Gene), brother Lou Al Chiaramonte, close friend DaLane Terrell, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Boilermakers Union Hall at 9725 U.S. Highway #92 East.
Barbara Anne Migliaro
Barbara Anne Migliaro, 60 of Gibsonton, Fla. passed away October 4, 2013. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church where she served as an Instructor, Lector and Eucharistic Minister as well as a member of Our Lady of Divine Providence House of Prayer.
The funeral Mass was held on October 8, 2013 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Ruskin, Fla. Burial will be in New Jersey.
Erika Nargolwala
Erika Nargolwala, resident of Kings Point, wife of Joe Nargolwala, died August 11, 2013. Born December 12, 1930, Erika was an author and teacher.
The memorial service for Erika Nargolwala will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the United Community Church (Church of Christ), 1501 La Jolla Avenue in Sun City Center.
Steve Toth
Steve Toth, 92, of Sun City Center Fla. died October 2, 2013. Steve, son of Elizabeth Boza and Steve Toth Sr., loving husband of Margaret Linnea Sundwick-Toth, and beloved father of Karen Elizabeth Doom-Toth passed away of natural causes.
Steve is survived by his wife “Lynn,” daughter Karen Elizabeth, and grandchildren Draven and Kaden. Steve worked as a Civil Engineer for the City of Detroit, Mich. after earning his degree from Wayne State University. Upon retirement in 1986, he moved to Sun City Center, Fla., where he and his wife Lynn lived for 26 years.
Steve loved gardening, volleyball, music, and spending time with his family. He was also proud and honored to be the first Dean of the United Community Church College, appointed by Dr. Robert Gingery. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to any nature preservation society would be a wonderful and appreciated way to celebrate his love of the outdoors and preservation of our earth. Steve’s life will be celebrated with a small family service in Jacksonville, Fla.
