John P. Gillespie
John P. Gillespie, 94, of Kings Point passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013. He was born on June 11, 1919 in Rockford, Alabama.
John served in an armored division in World War II, was married to the late Jewel Gillspie for 50 years, and made his career as a house painter before moving to Florida some 30 years ago.
He was predeceased by daughter Judy Poppovitch and son Johnny Gillespie.
He is survived by grandson Sidney (Katrina) Smith; his long-tme companion Vicki Herschberger and her daughter Carma Whitwer; and great-grandchildren John, Rachel and Samantha Long of Ruskin.
A memorial service for John will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 at the Sun City Christian Center in Wimauma.
Isabel Kroner
Isabel Kroner, 93, of Sun City Center, Fla. passed away June 22, 2013. She retired as a physical education teacher for the Bangor (Wisconsin) Public School System. She was a member and an active participant of the St Andrew Presbyterian Church Circle, Sun City Center Lawn Bowlers and an avid bridge player. She enjoyed traveling overseas with her husband and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Kroner, Sr., her sister and brother-in-law, Burnette and Arthur Gamlin, and her brothers Joe and Charles LaFountain.
Survivors include son Bob (Mary) Kroner, Jr.; daughters Carol (Kenneth) Bachofen and Mary Ann Kroner; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Dr., Sun City Center, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Andrew Presbyterian Church, 1239 Del Webb Blvd. West, Sun City Center, Fla. 33573. Internment will be in Munsing, Michigan in August. Paul E. Sager
Paul E. Sager, 72, of Sun City Center Fla. went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2013.
Paul grew up in West Seneca, N.Y., lived in Syracuse, N.Y., before retiring to Florida 6½ years ago. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Kathleen (Harley) Sager; children Gregory Sager, Michael Sager (Lynn), Daniel Sager (Lori), Sheri Wright (David); and precious grandchildren Eric, Valerie, Jonathan, Olivia, Joshua, Jacob Sager and Carissa, Chloe’, Christian, Caleb, Connor and Christopher Roman Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Edna Sager.

Thomas C. Sherlock
Thomas C. Sherlock, 92, of Sun City Center, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on June 11, 1921, Tom was a underwriter for Nationwide Insurance Company, a life member of B.P.O.Elks a, 32-degree Mason and member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Tom is survived by daughter Barbara (Robert) Beilstein of Swickley, Pa.; sister Betty Hartlep of Bakersfield, Calif.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Pittsburg, Pa. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Sun City Center Hospice House (Life Path Hospice). Arrangements by Sun City Center Funeral Home.
