Dolores Greene McCord
Dolores Greene McCord, 92, of Sun City Center, Florida formerly of Seymour, IN, passed away at the Lifepath Hospice on April 9, 2012 at 6:30 a.m. Dolores was born on February 2, 1920 in Seymour, the daughter of Howard S. and Gladys E. (Goodpasture) Greene. She worked as an Executive Secretary for Cummins Engine Co. for 17 years and then for the Arizona State Highway Dept. for 12 years, retiring in 1982. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church – Borchers and was a former member of the Jackson County Democratic Women’s Club.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Monica “Pixie” (Jerry) Otte and Ann Smith Guiles; 4 grandchildren: Catherine Shea (Richard) Fulton, Monica Ann Otte, Patrick Shawn Otte and Julie Lynn (Greg) Rieker; 7 great grandchildren and cousins, Joan (Basil) Robertson, Mary J. (Dennis) Fishburn and Pam Buford. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands: William Thomas Smith, Everett Donica and Robert Hugh McCord, a sister, Betty Greene Hoffman and a grandson, Jeremy Nathaniel Otte.
Cremation Rites have been accorded and a Memorial/graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery – Borchers.

Leora (Lee) M. Trevino
Leora (Lee) M. Trevino RN, 90, died at her home April 7, 2012. She was a surgical nurse for 30+ years and enjoyed active retirement for 40 years in Sun City Center.
She was a caring, loving person who lived life to the fullest and loved her family with all her heart. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eloy Trevino. She is survived by a son, Gary Speight (Terri); a daughter, Marsha Anderson (Bruce); four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Sun City Center Emergency Squad.

R. David Wood
R. David Wood passed away peacefully April 3, 2012 in his home in Sun City Center. He was born on January 21, 1933 in Groveland, Massachusetts; son of Ralph and Marian (Worthen) Wood. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married his love Marion Holder on April 18, 1963. He began working at Norfolk & Dedham Mutual Fire Insurance Company in 1959 and retired as Treasurer 35 years later. He is survived by his wife Marion, his sons Alan Angus (wife LuAnn) and Mark Wood (wife Therese), his daughters Marilyn Gushard (husband Keith) and Brenda Karp (husband Jeff) and sisters Dorothy Janvrin and Elizabeth Platine. He has four grandsons Scott, Christopher, Michael and Adam and 3 granddaughters Nicole, Danielle and Rachel and 3 great granddaughters Kaitlyn, Kimberly and Clara.
David and Marion moved to Sun City Center in 16 years ago from Foxborough, Massachusetts. David volunteered on the Sun City Center Emergency Squad for 10 years. He enjoyed lawn bowling, but his greatest enjoyment was being with his friends. He was most appreciated for his sense of humor and quick wit which he combined with quiet dignity. He and Marion also enjoyed traveling around the world and exploring new places.
David will be greatly missed by his family and friends. There will be a memorial service for him in Foxborough, Massachusetts this summer.
