Shoppers at the monthly SouthShore Market in Ruskin were greeted with blue skies, cool temperatures and a wide selection of vendors with products ranging from photography to farm fresh produce. Hydro Harvest Farms of Ruskin was on hand offering their fresh produce, along with servings of strawberry shortcake, and they were joined by vendors offering fresh seafood and fresh bread (including fresh baguettes from 20 Skekels, which were wonderful). In addition to food were offerings from Pamela Vasquez Photography of Apollo Beach and beautifully hand-painted glass from area teacher and fine artist Margit Redlawsk. The SouthShore Market is open on the last Sunday of every month and is located on the southeast corner of Shell Point Road and U.S. Highway 41.
