Robert R. Rafferty
Robert R. Rafferty 82, of Sun City Center, Fl passed away January 21, 2012 at home with his family. He is urvived by his loving wife, Loys Reynolds Raffery; sons, Ronald, Timothy and Michael; daughters, Robin Ariola and Dorothy DesBrisay.

Barbara H. Fontaine
Barbara H. Fontaine, age 84, of Mexico, Maine and Sun City Center, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday January 9, 2012 at Oak Grove Center.
She was born in Mexico, Maine on March 21, 1927 the youngest of eight children to Stephen and Mary (Casey) McPhee.
Barbara was a graduate of Mexico High School class of 1945, excelling in basketball. She also played in the school band and as a young woman she and her friends attended all of the Big Band Swing Dances.
She was employed for several years at Oxford Paper and later was a library assistant at Rumford High School for many years.
She was married to Leo Fontaine for over 40 years; he passed away in 1992.
Barbara was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior. She was a member of the Oakdale Country Club in Mexico and the Kings Point Gold Club in Sun City Center, Florida.
Barbara enjoyed knitting, baking, reading, and was an avid golfer scoring two holes in one in her golfing career.
She loved watching Sunday football. Barbara and her husband Leo enjoyed entertaining family and friends in their home and summer camp at Worthley Pond. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children, Nancy Makin and husband John of Skowhegan, Sally Allard and husband Robert of Carrabassett, Bruce S. Fontaine and companion Rosey Wolfe of Bath, Ann Fontaine-Fisher and husband Gregory of Portland, and Janet F. Crowe and husband Brendan of Brunswick; a sister Rita Wyman and husband John of Rumford; ten grandchildren Sara Eastup, Tina Marie Poulin, Margo Reis, Matthew Allard, Zachary Allard, Jon Fontaine, Danielle Fontaine, MacKenzie Fisher, Alison Crowe, and Emily Crowe; and three great-grandchildren Jake, Maddie and Tillie Rose.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Leo Fontaine in 1992, two brothers Donald McPhee and Stephen McPhee, and three sisters Mary Sciaraffa, Theresa Vatalaro and Geneva Ziko.

Eugene (Gene) Skummer
Eugene (Gene) Skummer, 78 of Sun City Center, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Born in Chicago, IL on February 3, 1933, Gene was a retired General Manager; a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict; a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church; German American Club; loved to play golf and had 3 holes in one. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary; daughters, Lori Theresa (Steve) Ryan of Bolingbrook, IL and Mary Katherine (Joe) Tooley of Jacksonville, FL; sister LaVerne Serritella of Bartlett, IL and brother, Robert Skummer of Mt. Prospect, IL. Gene is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Inurnment will be a Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl at a later date.
