The Kings Point Quilters celebrate Veterans Day throughout the year from their own hearts and hard work. The club spends each year working on charity quilts with the Veteran’s Hospital in Tampa being their primary focus, making red, white and blue-themed quilts for veterans at the hospital. Club members speak of being overwhelmed by how much receiving their own quilt can mean to a veteran. The Kings Point Quilters meet every Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the North Clubhouse at Kings Point. For more information call Sandy Nunn at 813-642-8961.
